Friendsheep has partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects and has pledged to plant one tree towards permanent reforestation for every item they sell. Since starting the program they have planted over 300,000 trees – and provided 3,000 fair wage work days – in Madagascar, a nation with more than 200,000 unique species endangered by the unregulated deforestation of the last decades. That’s 900 acres of land – over 665 football fields of forest!
